Green Cabinet Receives SEC Environmental Recognition Award

As a Founding Board Member of Green Cabinet, a local non-profit organization in pursuit of a sustainable world , Carol Parra-Little was part of the Green Cabinet team that received a recognition award from the Sacramento Environmental Commission at it’s 11th annual Environmental Recognition Awards that occured in April 2010. Each year the Sacramento Environmental Commission (SEC) recognizes community members, businesses, organizations and government entities who share in its mission of promoting a high quality environment by putting into practice programs that make a positive contribution towards this goal in our community.

The “Environmental Recognition Award” was created by the SEC to recognize these accomplishments and the leadership of those who have acted to protect our environmental resources while enabling economic progress. The presentation was televised live on Channel 14 on 4/19/10.
